Clean and disinfection of cold water storage tanks is no longer an annual requirement. The legislation tells us we should “clean and disinfect cold-water storage tanks as and when required”. Part of a legionella management monitoring regime will ensure cold-water storage tanks and inspected regularly and only cleaned when required.

Should your cold-water tank or associated down services require cleaning then Total Water Compliance can provide a tailored tank and/or system clean either in or out of hours using a range of different chemicals. Our team will clean and disinfect your services in accordance with ACoP L8 following the procedures as set out in BS EN 806:2012 and BS 8558:2015. Following the works, you will be provided with a hard copy and electronic copy of the report along with photos and full analysis of the water throughout
